Fujairah Terminals, a subsidiary of AD Ports Group, has signed three major strategic land lease agreements with Fujairah International Airport, Fujairah Free Zone Authority and Al Dahra Agriculture Trading. These agreements aim to strengthen the UAE’s logistics, industrial and trade ecosystem.
The agreements are expected to boost connectivity, enhance supply chain efficiency, and create new commercial opportunities across regional and international markets. Moreover, the partnerships highlight Fujairah’s growing importance as a major gateway for maritime trade and logistics in the Middle East.
According to reports, Fujairah Terminals plans to use about 130,000 square meters of leased land for logistics development. In addition, the project will strengthen logistics infrastructure and improve operational capabilities at the terminal.
Fujairah Terminals
“Fujairah Terminals’ strategic partnerships align with the company’s commitment to strengthening Fujairah’s position as a regional and global trade hub,” said Captain Mohamed Al Yahyaei, CEO of Fujairah Terminals. In addition, he stated, “The agreements will further enhance supply chain integration between ports, free zones, and airport facilities.”
The collaboration with Fujairah International Airport is especially important because the airport now plays a larger role in cargo and passenger operations across the UAE. Notably, authorities upgraded the airport significantly in recent years. This was done to increase operational capacity and support future logistics expansion.
Partnership with the Fujairah Free Zone Authority
Partnership with the Fujairah Free Zone Authority contributes to promoting the attraction of more international businesses and investors. This is achieved by providing integrated logistics and industrial solutions. The Fujairah Free Zone is a key economic zone for companies wanting to access Gulf, African and Asian markets.
Industry experts say these agreements could only further boost the UAE’s standing as one of the world’s leading logistics and maritime trade hubs. Furthermore, Fujairah’s strategic location outside the Strait of Hormuz gives it a major edge for global shipping and energy trade routes.
Fujairah Terminals plays a key role in AD Ports Group’s regional expansion strategy. It continues to grow its portfolio of international logistics and port operations.
