A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism and Hub71, the global technology ecosystem based in Abu Dhabi. According to the signed document, the organizations agreed to cooperate in the area of intellectual property (IP), patents and innovation advancement in the United Arab Emirates. This collaboration marks another milestone in strengthening the UAE intellectual property and innovation ecosystem.
The UAE Ministry of Economy and Hub71 concluded the document on the sidelines of the “Make it in the Emirates 2026” forum, under the auspices of H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism.
The collaboration will help UAE entrepreneurs and inventors protect and register their intellectual property. It will support innovators who develop new ideas across various sectors. These efforts strengthen the UAE’s intellectual property and innovation ecosystem.
