Hands-On Experience to Explore Creativity
Recently, DMCC’s Dubai Design Academy has hosted the Dubai Media Office team to offer them a fun and creative workshop experience. During the event, which was hosted by Ahmad Hamza, Chief Free Zone Affairs Officer at DMCC, the attendees were provided the chance to learn the art of jewellery making in two dedicated workshops, namely Initial Pendant and Stacking Rings.
Making Connections Using Craftsmanship Skills
In addition to learning about the jewellery-making process, the event aimed to provide participants with an experience in how to work as a team while using their creative skills in a productive manner. In particular, the workshop emphasised how important the hands-on jewellery experience is as a unique way to build teams based on crafts.

To date, the institution has trained almost 1,000 students in various fields of design, ranging from fashion design to jewellery making.
