Sharjah Chamber Visits Badami Holding Group as Company Eyes Global Expansion

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has visited Badami Holding Group as the two sides discussed business expansion, export opportunities and ways to strengthen the company’s access to regional and international markets.

The meeting brought SCCI officials to Badami Holding Group’s operations in Sharjah, where they learned more about the company’s automotive spare parts distribution, logistics activities and wider business plans.

The visit also reflects Sharjah’s broader push to keep its business support institutions closely connected with companies operating in the emirate, particularly businesses looking to expand beyond the UAE.

Sharjah Chamber Steps Up Engagement With Private Businesses

The Sharjah Chamber’s engagement with Badami Holding Group comes as the organisation continues to work directly with companies to understand their commercial priorities and identify opportunities for growth. Rather than limiting support to general business services, SCCI is increasingly using company visits and direct discussions to identify specific areas where businesses can benefit from its programmes and international network.

During the meeting, SCCI officials discussed the services available to private-sector companies, including support for export development, participation in trade missions and access to international business events. The objective is to help Sharjah-based companies strengthen their competitiveness while opening additional channels into overseas markets.

Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, highlighted the importance of maintaining close communication with the private sector and understanding the challenges companies face as markets continue to change.

For businesses already operating internationally, that kind of institutional connection can be useful when entering new markets, identifying potential partners or looking for opportunities to promote products abroad.

Badami Holding Group Showcases Its Sharjah Operations

Badami Holding Group used the visit to present its business operations and strategic plans to the SCCI delegation. The company operates across automotive spare parts distribution, supply chain management and logistics, with its Sharjah facilities supporting its wider distribution network.

The company’s distribution centre gives a practical example of how Sharjah’s location and infrastructure support businesses serving multiple markets. Warehousing, distribution and logistics operations can connect manufacturers and suppliers with customers across the UAE and wider region, making location a major factor in international expansion.

Asad Badami, CEO and Managing Director of Badami Holding Group, welcomed the SCCI delegation and discussed the company’s activities and future plans.

The meeting gave the Chamber a closer look at the operational side of the business while giving Badami Holding Group an opportunity to engage directly with an organisation that supports Sharjah’s private sector.

Export Opportunities Take Centre Stage

Export development was one of the key areas discussed during the meeting, reflecting Badami Holding Group’s interest in expanding its international reach. For a company operating in automotive parts and distribution, reaching new markets can involve more than simply finding buyers. Reliable logistics, local partnerships, market knowledge and access to industry events all play a role.

Ali Al Jari, Director of the Sharjah Export Development Centre, presented the centre’s programmes and services designed to help local companies increase their presence in international markets.

The discussion included potential markets that could support Badami Holding Group’s expansion plans. The company was also encouraged to participate in specialised and general exhibitions supported by SCCI, as well as overseas trade missions and economic events.

These platforms can give companies direct access to distributors, suppliers, buyers and potential business partners while providing a clearer understanding of demand in individual markets.

Workforce Development Becomes Part of the Discussion

International expansion also depends on the people running the business, and workforce development formed another part of the discussions between SCCI and Badami Holding Group. As companies expand their operations, they often need employees with stronger technical, managerial and operational skills.

SCCI introduced Badami Holding Group to the programmes offered by the Sharjah Training and Development Centre, which focuses on developing professional capabilities and strengthening workforce skills.

The Chamber also presented the Sharjah Excellence Award, which recognises organisations for institutional excellence, operational efficiency, process improvement and management practices.

For Badami Holding Group, these programmes provide potential avenues for strengthening internal capabilities alongside its external expansion plans.

Business Groups Could Create More Industry Connections

SCCI also highlighted its Sectoral Business Groups, which bring companies together around issues affecting particular industries. These groups provide businesses with a channel to share concerns, discuss industry priorities and communicate with government institutions and other stakeholders.

For the automotive sector, stronger industry coordination can be particularly relevant because companies operate across interconnected areas such as spare parts, logistics, distribution, manufacturing and supply chains.

The Chamber also offered its facilities and services to support Badami Holding Group’s future events and activities. That could provide another avenue for the company to connect with businesses and organisations across Sharjah.

SCCI Reviews Badami’s Logistics Infrastructure

The meeting concluded with a tour of Badami Holding Group’s logistics centre, including facilities operated by its subsidiary A-MAP. The visit allowed the SCCI delegation to see how the company manages the physical side of its distribution operations.

A-MAP serves as the exclusive UAE distributor of ADNOC Voyager oils and lubricants outside ADNOC’s official service station network, according to the Emirates News Agency.

During the tour, the delegation reviewed the company’s warehousing and distribution operations, supply chain activities and workforce training facilities. Officials also visited the product inspection and quality assurance division, where spare parts undergo checks related to safety and reliability.

The tour gave SCCI a closer understanding of the infrastructure required to support a large automotive distribution operation and the role logistics plays in Badami Holding Group’s broader business strategy.

The meeting between SCCI and Badami Holding Group highlights the practical relationship between Sharjah’s business-support institutions and companies seeking to expand their operations. Export programmes, international exhibitions, trade missions, sectoral groups and workforce development initiatives all form part of the ecosystem available to businesses based in the emirate.

For Badami Holding Group, the focus is increasingly international, with new markets and business relationships forming an important part of its growth strategy.

For Sharjah, keeping companies such as Badami Holding Group connected to its commercial ecosystem strengthens the emirate’s position as a base for businesses involved in trade, logistics and international distribution.
