DWTC to Host 18 Major Events Across Dubai in October 2026

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) is heading into one of its busiest periods of the year, with 18 major exhibitions, conferences and business events scheduled across Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai throughout October 2026.

The programme covers a wide range of industries, including artificial intelligence, aviation, beauty, real estate, energy, sustainability, agriculture, education, media and jewellery. The packed calendar is expected to bring international companies, investors, buyers, government representatives and industry professionals into Dubai.

For businesses operating in the UAE, the activity creates another month of opportunities for networking, partnerships and market expansion.

Two Venues Strengthen Dubai’s Business Events Calendar

The October programme will be spread across two major venues, giving Dubai greater capacity to host large-scale exhibitions while different industries operate simultaneously. DWTC remains a central hub for international trade events, while Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai is taking on an increasingly important role as the emirate expands its exhibition infrastructure.

The two venues are part of a wider effort to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global business-events destination. DWTC has also been progressing with the AED10 billion expansion of Dubai Exhibition Centre, which is expected to significantly increase the city’s capacity for major international exhibitions and conferences.

Beautyworld Dubai Brings the Global Beauty Industry to Dubai

Beautyworld Dubai will take place from October 6 to 8 at Dubai World Trade Centre, marking its 30th anniversary and bringing a large international audience from the beauty and personal-care industry to the emirate. The event has become an important meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and other businesses looking to establish relationships across the Middle East.

The 2026 edition is expected to feature more than 1,900 exhibitors and 70,000 industry professionals, with products and technologies spanning cosmetics, fragrances, hair care, nail care and related services. The scale of the exhibition gives regional businesses access to international suppliers while giving overseas companies another route into the Middle Eastern market.

Aviation Takes Centre Stage at Airport Show

Dubai’s position as a major international aviation hub will be reflected in the Airport Show and Global Airport Leaders’ Forum, taking place from October 12 to 14 at DWTC. The events will bring airport operators, government officials, technology companies and aviation suppliers together to discuss the infrastructure and technologies shaping the next generation of airports.

The Airport Show will mark its 25th edition, while the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum returns for its 13th edition. Discussions will cover areas including airport digitalisation, sustainability, security and passenger experience, giving companies working in aviation technology and infrastructure an opportunity to engage with regional decision-makers.

Real Estate Investment Gets Its Own Spotlight

Real estate will feature prominently in October through the RISE Global Real Estate Investment Summit & Expo, scheduled for October 13 and 14. The event comes as Dubai continues to attract international capital into residential, commercial, hospitality and infrastructure projects.

The summit will bring together investors, developers, policymakers, financial institutions and technology companies to discuss investment opportunities and developments across the property sector. For businesses entering or expanding within the UAE, these events can provide access to potential investors, development partners and professional-service providers.

AI Becomes a Major Part of Dubai’s October Calendar

Artificial intelligence will have a dedicated platform at the Dubai AI Festival, taking place on October 26 and 27 at DWTC. The event reflects how quickly AI has moved from a specialist technology topic into a business priority across sectors ranging from finance and retail to government and professional services.

The festival will focus on AI applications, enterprise adoption, partnerships and emerging technologies. Another AI-focused event, the Agentforce World Tour, will take place at Dubai Exhibition Centre, putting AI-powered agents and digital transformation at the centre of discussions around business productivity and customer operations.

WETEX Puts Energy and Sustainability in Focus

Dubai’s energy and sustainability ambitions will take centre stage at WETEX, scheduled from October 20 to 22 at DWTC. The exhibition has grown into one of the region’s major platforms for water, energy, clean technology and environmental solutions, attracting companies seeking opportunities across the Middle East.

The 2025 edition attracted more than 50,000 visitors from 65 countries and featured 3,100 exhibitors. WETEX 2026 is expected to continue that international focus, with specialist sessions covering developments in clean energy, water management and sustainability technologies.

Satellite and Media Industries Head to Expo City Dubai

The CABSAT and SATExpo Middle East events will bring the satellite, broadcasting, media and space technology industries together at Dubai Exhibition Centre from October 5 to 7. Their combined presence reflects the growing overlap between traditional media infrastructure, satellite communications and emerging space technologies.

CABSAT will showcase technologies used across content production, broadcasting and distribution, while SATExpo Middle East will focus more heavily on satellite and space technology. The events will also provide startups, technology companies and established industry players with opportunities to meet potential customers and investors.

Education Events Target Students, Families and Institutions

October’s DWTC calendar also extends beyond traditional trade exhibitions. Events such as the Baby & Kids Expo, School and Nursery Show and Najah Expo will bring families, students, education providers and institutions into Dubai’s business-events ecosystem.

Najah Expo will return from October 25 to 27 for its 20th anniversary, with more than 100 universities and colleges expected to participate. The event will cover university admissions, scholarships, international study opportunities and career planning, making it particularly relevant to students considering education in the UAE or overseas.

Agriculture Technology Enters the Conversation

The agricultural technology sector will have its own platform through Growtech Middle East, taking place at DWTC from October 26 to 28. Formerly known as Agra Middle East, the exhibition is entering a new phase under its Growtech branding as technology becomes increasingly important to food production and agricultural efficiency.

More than 150 exhibitors and 9,000 visitors from over 80 countries are expected. The exhibition will cover crop production, livestock, aquaculture and smart farming, with food security and technology-driven agriculture among the major themes.

Jewellery and Technology Meet at JGTD

The Jewellery, Gem & Technology Dubai (JGTD) exhibition will take place at Dubai Exhibition Centre from October 27 to 29. The event will make its first appearance at the Expo City venue, creating another international platform for Dubai’s jewellery and precious-stone trade.

More than 400 exhibitors from 26 countries are expected to participate. Manufacturers, wholesalers, technology providers and international buyers will use the event to explore sourcing opportunities and establish commercial relationships across regional and international markets.

What the October Calendar Means for UAE Businesses

The concentration of events across DWTC and Dubai Exhibition Centre demonstrates the broader economic role played by Dubai’s exhibition industry. These events do more than fill exhibition halls. They bring potential customers, suppliers, investors, entrepreneurs and industry specialists into the UAE.

For companies based in Dubai’s free zones, the activity can create opportunities to meet international businesses without leaving the local market. A technology company may find new clients at an AI event, while a logistics business can connect with exhibitors arriving for an international trade show. Professional-service firms, distributors and consultants can also benefit from the increased movement of international companies through the city.

Dubai’s expanding exhibition infrastructure gives the emirate more room to accommodate this activity. The planned AED10 billion Dubai Exhibition Centre expansion is expected to further increase capacity and support the city’s ambitions as a major global destination for business events.

October’s schedule therefore offers a useful snapshot of Dubai’s wider commercial ecosystem: international trade, investment, technology, sustainability and sector-specific business activity all converging in the same market.
