The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Ajman Chamber and Ajman Department of Finance have launched a Unified Attestation Package designed to make document authentication faster for businesses and individuals in Ajman.

The new service connects several government procedures into one digital journey. Customers dealing with documents issued by Ajman Chamber can complete the required steps through an integrated process instead of moving between separate services.

For companies, the change addresses a familiar administrative headache: document attestation can involve several government entities, payments and applications. By connecting those services, Ajman is attempting to take much of that friction out of the process.

Ajman Reduces Document Attestation From 15 Steps to Three

The most noticeable change under the new package is the reduction in the number of procedures required to complete an attestation transaction. The previous process involved six procedures and 15 steps, while the new system reduces this to three procedures and three steps.

The integrated service is designed to complete the transaction within minutes. That represents a significant change for businesses that regularly need Chamber-issued documents authenticated for use outside the UAE.

Ajman Chamber has previously described the system as a three-stage digital journey covering Chamber attestation, automatic MoFA attestation and certification by the UAE Embassy in the destination country. The Chamber said the redesigned process could cut the completion period from around six working days to approximately three minutes.

Government Entities Connect Their Services Through One Digital Process

The Unified Attestation Package brings together services from the federal and local government levels. MoFA provides the federal attestation component, while Ajman Chamber handles documents issued through the Chamber and the Ajman Department of Finance supports the financial and electronic payment elements.

This integration is important because putting government services online does not always eliminate administrative work. Businesses can still face delays when they have to complete separate applications on different platforms. The new model attempts to address that problem by linking the services behind a single customer journey.

For companies operating in Ajman’s commercial and free-zone ecosystem, that can mean fewer applications, fewer repeated transactions and less time spent following up on routine documentation.

Faster Attestation Can Help Companies Handling International Business

Document attestation has a practical role in international business. Companies may need authenticated commercial documents when dealing with overseas authorities, partners, institutions and other organisations.

A faster process therefore has value beyond convenience. Businesses can complete administrative requirements sooner and move forward with transactions that depend on officially authenticated documents.

This is particularly relevant for companies in Ajman that maintain international suppliers, customers or business relationships. Reducing the administrative time attached to documentation can make government services less of a bottleneck for day-to-day operations.

Ajman Department of Finance Supports the Digital Integration

The Ajman Department of Finance forms another part of the integrated service, helping connect payment and financial processes with the wider attestation journey.

The department’s involvement reflects a broader move towards government services that operate across institutional boundaries rather than as isolated transactions. Customers do not necessarily need to know which entity handles each individual step because the system is designed to connect those functions in the background.

That approach can make the experience simpler for businesses, especially when several government services are required to complete one transaction.

Unified Attestation Package Supports Ajman’s Business Environment

Ajman has been expanding its use of digital government services as it works to improve the business environment and reduce administrative friction. The Unified Attestation Package fits into that wider direction by focusing on a process that companies and individuals already use.

The initiative also supports the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which aims to remove unnecessary procedures, shorten government service journeys and improve efficiency.

For businesses, the value is straightforward. A transaction that once required 15 steps can now be completed through three steps. That is the kind of administrative change companies notice because it affects time spent on routine government requirements.

Ajman Continues Its Push for Integrated Government Services

The launch also highlights a wider shift in how Ajman approaches digital government. Rather than simply transferring individual services from physical counters to online platforms, authorities are increasingly looking at how different government services can connect with one another.

That distinction could become increasingly important as companies expect faster government transactions and more seamless digital services. Businesses generally do not care which government entity sits behind each stage of a process. They care whether the process is clear, fast and easy to complete.

The Unified Attestation Package takes that approach to document authentication, creating a single connected journey between MoFA, Ajman Chamber and the Ajman Department of Finance.
